Spiritual Philosophy is a means by which Spirit endeavour to guide people how to deal with life, and is usually given in story form so that the reader, or the listener, can relate to what is being said. By giving their philosophy in story form, Spirit ensure that even the most uneducated person in the world will understand and benefit from the advice, guidance and wisdom given.
There is no situation that man on earth can experience that has not already been experienced by a Spirit within the Spiritual Energy Field. This energy field encompasses the biggest reference library imaginable to mankind. Perhaps the best example of this can be demonstrated in the following story:
Martin’s Wife died suddenly! During the last ten years of her life Martin and his wife had been almost inseparable. They had done everything together, and as time passed, despite having a son and a daughter who lived some distance away, life, for Martin had come to a standstill. After much thought, Martin decided that the best course of action for him, was to take his own life and as a consequence join his wife in what he called ‘Heaven.’
Not many miles away was a canal over which there were a number of bridges, and since he was a non swimmer, he felt that this would be the ideal place to do the deed. He sat down one morning and wrote letters to both his son and his daughter, explaining what he had done, and why, and telling them that they would find that he had sorted out all the paperwork with regard to his house and contents, etc., and then he drove down to the canal and parked his car in a nearby car park.
As he walked along the canal bank he came across a young boy fishing, and he enquired out of politeness if the boy had caught any fish yet. “No!” replied the boy, “I have only been here a short time.”
“Do you come fishing here often?” he then asked the boy.
“Yes, “”replied the boy, “usually twice a week. I used to come with my dad, but now I come alone.”
“Is you dad not able to come now because of his work?” Martin asked the boy.
“No! My dad was killed six month’s ago in an accident, “ replied the boy, “But I know that he still comes with me, because when I make a mess of casting my line I can hear him saying: “That’s not how I taught you!” “Do you do any fishing?” the boy then asked Martin, who by this time had sat down on the bank beside the boy.
“No! I used to do some many years ago, “ Martin replied, “but I got out of the habit.”
Time passed by, and the boy and Martin talked, until the boy said that he would have to pack up and go home. “I’ll give you a lift! “Martin told the boy. “My car is just along the canal.”
As he drove the boy home, the lad told Martin that he still had his dad’s rods, and if Martin liked, he would bring them and they could fish together. Martin thought that would be a great idea and they arranged to meet later in the week, at the boys house, to go fishing together.
Martin returned home, tore up his letters to his son and daughter, and put the paper work for his house safely away.
The philosophy and the basis of this story is that it took a young boy to teach an old man how to deal with life and the death of someone dear to him.
A very simple story with a message. No matter how bad the loss of a loved feels, there is always a positive means for dealing with it, like the young boy to whom Spirit guided Martin, so that he could learn from him how to get on with life in a positive and beneficial manner.

I am here but you do not listen - and I try so hard!
I endeavour to get your attention but you do not respond.
I know your worries and concerns, and I can help and guide you through the trials and tribulations that you are experiencing, but only if you respond to the thoughts that I implant in your conscious mind.
These are the problems that Spirit endures as they endeavour to help us deal with life in a positive and progressive manner. We just fail to listen and we don’t respond to their presence nor do we respond to the thoughts that they give us, through inspiration in our conscious minds.
Too often we feel or believe that we know best; that we are in control of all that takes place around and about us. But the Spirit within our Human frame, and the Spirit guide outside that frame, which place themselves in our service every minute of every day, are far better placed to understand the situations in which we find ourselves, as they are in possession of more of the facts of life around us, than we are ourselves.
If we accept that we are the lesser power, and accept the guidance and advice of Spirit, then our dealing with life, and all that it imposes upon our Being, will become far more simple, and much less difficult.
Because of Spirit’s vast knowledge, and because of their accessibility to our minds, and the minds of those around us, they have a much clearer and realistic picture of life around us at any one moment of time. This ensures that their guidance and advice is accurate and so is a vital factor in our lives and so we should come to terms with this and understand the relevance of Spirit in our lives.
Always remember that every second, every minute, and every hour of your time upon earth is the same for your Spirit guides as it is for yourself! For this reason you should give your Guides your confidence and belief. They are seeking the quality of life for yourself that they also want to experience and enjoy.
Man's sole dependency for his time upon our Mother Earth is in the Spirit Energy that gives his physical being its means to function. Yet the level of thought or consideration that man gives to this life giving energy is more often than not very little. ASH as a healing group, are aware that without this essential ingredient in our physical being, we could not exist and also that its presence within the human frame enables the channelling of Spirit Healing Energy to that human frame to be beneficial to it.
Despite the fact that educational standards have greatly improved over the last 30 years, mans ignorance of the true functional factors that ensure his existence upon this earth is still as great as it was then. The true and essential factors that we teach at ASH, are based on the knowledge and experience of the truth of the power of spirit in all aspects of our lives.
Experience over the years has taught us that without the guidance, support and love that spirit affords every man, life upon this earth would neither have purpose or reason. Good spiritual philosophy is always based upon the fulfilment of man's needs in the most effective and practical way possible, and is given at any one time to those who nee d it in an understandable and simple manner. For centuries Philosophers struggled to understand the source from which flowed words of understanding and advice that always fitted the situations or conditions that they were called upon to advise upon.
It was late into the 18th century that philosophers slowly became aware through their own experiences, the true source of the wisdom and knowledge that they shared with those who needed it. Philosophy like life itself, is as essential to man today as it was all t hose centuries ago, and it is only mans failure to grasp the fact that such knowledge and guidance can be the main spring of his life, that causes him to have so much stress and disappointment during his life time. Philosophy is given to man by spirit to be shared and acted upon, and it is on this basis that we here at ASH carry out the tasks that spirit has given us as a means of educating those who seek to be educated.
Learning to understand the working of spirit both within and outside the human frame is for everyone the best and most essential means to learn about life itself and about themselves. Once man learns the philosophy of life in all its facets, his methods of dealing with the way forward become more realistic and positive and as a consequence more successful.
